River fishing well so far

Despite the late start to the season, the trout fishing has been good over the last two months, with a large number of wild fish caught (and released) as well as stock fish.

Day ticket anglers have enjoyed considerable success on the Yarrow and County School beats. The river was restocked at the end of July and catch returns show that only a very small number of stock fish have been taken, so we expect the fishing to continue being good.

Day tickets are now available, so if you’re thinking about buying one, stop thinking about it and go to the day ticket booking calendar now. As you will see, it’s filling up fast!
